THE CEILING FAN/LIGHT PROBLEM

I know this is not ECS related I just want to see what everyone else is
doing.

How you control your ceiling fan/light. It would be perfect to have a dual
x10 switch that would allow your hvac program to operate the fan at various
times. The only soln I have found includes going with a x10 light
controller and a x10 hard-wired module. Now we are up to $50 to control the
ceiling fan/light. Then you get to have fun if you want to change the code
on the fan circuit. You also need a controller switch for the fan if you go
this route. How about one light switch for the whole thing (would this
exceed the specs on the switch) Then at least you could operate the fan and
light manually, but who wants to have to do that?

Any ideas out there?

Kevin
