Re: [ECS] ECS and Panasonic Phone system

Hello

I have actually been working on just such a system. I have a
panasonic KX-T61610 and I have found a way (VIA hardware) for
ECS to get the caller ID info and be able to page over the phone
system. I have 4 children and the phone is NEVER for me. Instead
of me answering the phone all the time. ECS now determins which
childs friend is calling and anounces through out the entire house
who the call is for. If its not for me then I just let it ring. I am also
trying to get the kids used to LOGGING out when they leave the
house. This allows the ECS to pick up after the first ring when ECS
knows that the person the call is for is not home. The greeting then
states that person is not home and to leave a message. (I am still
debugging that) I am still in the process of documenting the
hardware I had to build to do this (Holidays, Birthdays and a
newborn child all slowing me down a bit) But to you and all of the
others waiting just to let you know I am still working on it. Hope
this helps.
