Subject: From: Date: | Help with Event Garren Davis Sat, 13 Jan 2001 09:09:06 -0800 |
I was wondering if someone could help me with this.
I have built hardware that will switch my speakers
from the tuner in the front room to an amplifier that
I have connected to my sound card. When ECS has
something to say it will switch the speakers to the
amplifier, speak whatever it needs to say, then
switch back to the tuner. The problem is that I
cannot get ECS to do that. Below are the Items and
a short version of the Event I used to try to get
this to work.
Basically I want to save the state of all the speakers.
(I have 4 sets of speakers around the house. Some speakers
will be on and some will be off).
Then I want to switch all the speakers to the amplifier.
Speak the message.
Then restore the speakers to their previous state.
Hardware is easy for me. Software is not. Could someone
help me with this Event. The Event does not restore the
state of the speakers and I cannot figure out why.
