Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] "Missed" DIGITAL-INPUT-K changes ? Doug Storey Sun, 14 Jan 2001 22:28:44 -0600 |
Warren;
Supervised digital input IS jumper on pins 2 and 3. If you use a Multi-meter
you can see that with the jumper on 2 and 3 there is an output voltage. If
the Jumper is on 1 and 2 there is none. Don't mean to be insulting but do
you have the 1K resistor in place?
When you place a meter on the PIR does the meter go to 0 when detecting
motion?
Is this a Normally Closed circuit ? ( A potential customer is reporting such
a problem with a PIR that opens the contact "briefly". )

Hi Chaps, guess what, I emailed Applied Digital and this is the result:
----
Place the pins on 2 and 3. I'm still working on it.
Kevin Barrett
Have a great day
----
The above doesnt work at all; I am sure its meant to be 1+2.
I wonder if my SECU-16 to Ocelot to PC communication is just not fast
enough, has anyone had lag problems like this?
Cheers, Warren
