Subject: From: Date: | Linux video hassles Mark Gilmore Thu, 25 Jan 2001 20:35:31 -0500 |
Hi all,
I just booted into LINUX for the 1st time, after having
replaced a motherboard. Linux ran me thru various cfg
change menus, and it "got me" where Linux ALWAYS does
- the VIDEO SETUP (i.e. refresh rate, etc):
On bootup, it now reports "SVGA: UNABLE TO OPEN /DEV/AGPGART:
NO SUCH DEVICE", and will not leave command-line mode.
ASSUMING that I can find the specs on my monitor, how
can I get those cfg screens to appear again ?
THANKS
