Subject: From: Date: | Two Phone Intf Cs Frank Herron Thu, 17 Sep 1998 09:38:56 -0400 |
To Peter Krauss Question about Modems. I use a DPDT Relay with my two inbound
lines connected to my Phone Interface C. If ECS detects line 2 is ringing he
picks the relay for 10 seconds and Phone Intf C gets the Caller-ID. If Line 1
rings it goes through the normally closed points of relay. I have never had
both lines ring at once in over 10 years. This way I get caller ID off both
lines using a single Modem
