My friends, MARK S. caught me with the old pants down,
as he dutifully reported a bug which I implied was an
"operator error":-). SORRY MARK !

The bug was that the spoken TTS responses to VR commands
was being suppressed (everything else still worked).
I assumed that more of you guys were using VR, and 
that such bug would have been reported before.
Will upload tonight.
