Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] Test for person using the computer? Troy Carpenter Sat, 19 Sep 1998 09:38:58 -0400 |
Well, I since I have a major paranoia about screen savers (some zap 100% of the
processor time while active, others actually CRASH my computer, etc.), I don't
run one. I just use the monitor's power save feature and have the computer
turn off the monitor after 10 minutes.
Are there any system registers which allow you to know how long there has been
no computer activity? If a program like the System Agent can do it, then I
would guess it would be available to any program.
