Anyone doing temperature sensing that you could lend me a hand in setting up
ECS to read and report them?

Subject: [ECS] Temperature Not So Sensing
Hi gang - I just received some ATP-1000 ADC (analog-to-digital) Decora
Temperature Sensors by Automated Environmental Systems which says works
with the Homevision etc. Trying to move on up to checking temperature,
motion and all that good stuff with new toys.
I am using information on temperature that was posted by Garnet below. I
installed the sensor per instructions, which has 1) Ground, 2) Analog
Input, and 3) +5 volt power from HV.
I got nuttin. I must admit I could not understand just what Low and High
Threshold I should input in the Item. I tried various stuff but never
obtained a reading. I used a volt meter and could see that the sensor on
the second floor was receiving power and sending back less power on the ,
but I am not obtaining any reading from ECS =or= HV....
Can anyone lend a thought,
thanks,
gary
