Martin,
are you using a US keyboard or some other one? More specifically, are you
loading keyb.exe in your AUTOEXEC.BAT? Some of the keyboard settings you
can select with keyb can change the way the caps lock key works - in some
country settings, it acts as a shift lock rather than caps lock. Which
might explain why your numbers are affected while Dans aren't.
Just a thought to check...
