Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] CID Carl Keyes Mon, 12 Oct 1998 06:57:01 +0000 |
Mark S,
Sorry, I mean they are reading "Out of Area". What does that mean
exactly?
What "area" does that refer to. Ihad the phone company do some test
calls
from a few other area codes that did read correctly. Something odd here.
I suppose it's possible, although I don't know for sure, that everyone
who's
called has had their number blocked.
I made a rather fun discovery with CID( for me anyway) that has the
callers name
incorporated into the answer greeting. Depending on the time of day it
will answer,
Good morning Mr. Jones, etc, etc, leave a message. Upon hearing
this,when
some friends have called, suddenly my interest in HA isn't so wierd
anymore. Now
they want to know how to set up a system. Go figure.
Thanks,
Carl
