I don't have ECS yet, but I have been following this and other lists to
decide what program I wanted to invest in. This particular subject is one of
importance to me and I have been looking for a solution to it.

What you will find is that the vast majority of the "out of area" calls are
phone solicitors. Some are also long distance phone carriers that buy blocks
of time and resell them. Now what I want to do is have a program that will
answer the "out of area" calls before my phone rings, and if it is a known
friend or family member (like my son), then they can punch in a code number
and it will ring through, otherwise it hangs up without me ever being
disturbed.

Any possibilities of this???

George
