I have just played with the windows version some more and am wondering
if I can type shorthand events like I used to be able to do.  I am very
quick now in typing events with entering the first few letters and then
hitting tab to have ecs give the full item to me.  I know that the
windows went to a tab moves between fields mode, but is there any other
key that now does this type on entry?  I realize that I can create
events with the drop down menues, but it seems tedious to hunt through
my 900ish items in a drop down menue every time for the one that I want.

How do you windows users enter your event lines?
