Subject: From: Date: | gameports David Rabin Mon, 22 Jun 1998 16:29:57 -0500 |
this is not an ecs question but it is a win 95 question and maybe someone
knows the answer.
i can add and list multiple game controllers (joysticks, gamepads, wheels
etc) in the control panel and gameports part of win 95 but i cant figure
out how to change which controller is recognized by the computer as
"connected". the only way i can change which controller is "connected" is
to delete the other controller which is connected and then the one that is
not connected becomes connected but you need to start all over when you
want to use the first controller.
i think there must be a way to have multiple joysticks listed in win 95 and
calibrated in win 95 and have a way to tell the computer which one is
connected without deleting the other controllers.turning off the computer
and plugging in another joystick does not change what the computer thinks
is plugged in (ie not true plug and play recognition).
if there is an answer it would be appreciated.
thanks
david
