Hello all,
I am about to upload ecs.zip (all .EXE's):
ECS.EXE/WUI:
Cursor/entry processing has been cleaned up quite a bit:
If you enter leading characters and press <DOWN> it will
take you to the 1st in the list that begins with those
characters. You can then used <UP>/<DOWN> to move around.
If you press <Enter> WITHOUT changing the field,
it will have the same effect as if you pressed <TAB>.
If you press <Enter> after changing the field,
ECS will "process" the entry (e.g. set the item to
the state you entered).
I fixed a bug in the event-editor which could cause a
crash if the entire event was selected.
I fixed a problem which kept VR.EXE from starting up
properly when executed by ECS.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
ECSD/ECST/ECS(OLD-IFC):
Memory usage of ECSD/ECST has been reduced by 2-bytes per
event-line. I also fixed a bug whereby newly-created
items would not be "available" in the group editor.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
ALL VERSIONS:
Event-line parsing has been greatly sped up.
I found/fixed the bug related to SPEAK-MESSAGE playback.
Regarding dimming with the new TC: I included their spec
(JDSUPD.DOC) in ECS.ZIP - It's in WORD format and I can't
read it. Perhaps one of you kind gents could do so and
send me an ASCII text version ??? Is the the problem with
dimming only, or will all x-10 commands ?
Awaiting your feedback.
