Actually my redac works well and the TW523.  I have never replaced it in
about 7 years of use.  I wonder if you have a problem with line spikes
taking out your TW523 (like from a motor)?  My problem is that the redac
is polled so frequently that ECS has little time to do anything else CPU
intensive like answering the phone.
