Subject: From: Date: | backups Mark Gilmore Mon, 09 Nov 1998 07:11:27 -0800 |
Regarding Michael's event slow-down problem
(who I thank for the detailed report):
3.4 used to write the states of all items to disk every
60 seconds IF a backed-up item had been modified.
In 4.0, i changed this logic such that they are written
AT THE TIME that such an item is modified.
So this could bog down ecs if a backed-up
item(s) was modified FREQUENTLY.
Comments ? Did i create a problem or an enhancement ?
