Now that you are working on the documentation, I wonder if you might also take
a minute to compare and contrast the attributes of the different versions of
ECS 4.0 (ECS, ECSD, & ECST) and to compare ECS 4.0 to ECS 3.4.
I'll confess that I've not been tracking all of the notes, but my sense is that
the bulk of the 4.0 enhancements are related to improving the user interface.
Other than that and the new dynamic memory allocation, are there other new
features of ECS 4.0 that would make this of particular interest as an
upgrade? Are there any functions or supported devices that don't come
across from 3.4 to 4.0? (Comments from others who have been involved in the
testing of ECS 4.0 would be much appreciated as well.)
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Bill Freeman
