Subject: From: Date: | Security-IFC-A interfaces "Not Responding" Michael David Sat, 4 Jul 1998 02:46:30 -0400 |
Hmmm. It appears I am having the same trouble a Dan. Exactly every 10
minutes, all of my transmitters for security-ifc-a go to "Not Responding" as
well. Bizarre.
Cheers!

Subject: [ECS] ECS Stuff
Happy fourth of July everyone!
I am still unable to solve my SECURITY-IFC-A problem in ECSW. I started
with a new ecs.cfg and created a security-IFC-A and a transmitter. I still
found that the status of the transmitter went to "not responding" for about
a second every ten minutes. I am about to program my system to ignore any
"not responding" states lasting less than a few seconds. Mark, are you sure
there is nothing in the ECSW code causing this?
I have also noticed that I get logged messages "PLC-interface-2C not
responding on com 6" about twice an hour. Is anyone else noticing this? It
seems to work very well otherwise. I have not yet checked if this
correlates with any other activity.
I will know which central lighting system I will be using in a couple of
weeks. I will fax you the command set as soon as I know, Mark.
I am very happy to have ECS mostly back on line!!! Keep up the good work
Mark!
