ECST v4?

Is anybody else using ECST v4? Since I have upgraded a few days ago, I
noticed that switching between the F1,F2 & F3 screens has gotten MUCH
slower. I am running on a 486/100 and the screen used to switch almost
instantly. Now I get a 'please wait...' message and have to watch the
screen draw, almost line by line. Mark hasn't noticed a problem, but his
slowest PC is 128 Mhz.
I just rebooted to see if I could speed things up and a LOT of items had
their values changed. Including all my colors (which are not in ANY events)
and sunrise/set time, etc. One item that I don't use or touch came up
invalid. No idea what happened, it was just a simple, controlled reboot!
I have also noticed that my benchmark items dropped from 10.7
passes/second to 8.4 passes/second when I switched from v3.4 to v4. Has
anybody else observed v4 being slower?
