That may work. It is hard to say at the moment as I am still using ECS
in Dos. As I use ECS, I only sit at the computer for reviewing and
deleting old messages and for sys administration/programing. I really
only use the group screen while programing or debugging ECS. All normal
use interfaces are X10 or fully automatic background processes. That is
why I don't care if the icons or item windows stay or can be switched
off. I'm not badmouthing ECS, just complaining about how Windows is
lame in it's handling of resource memory.
