I am running ECST ver 4.0 and Mark is working with me on it.  My machine is
a 486-SX-40.  My passes per second went from low teens to 7-8.  But the
slowest thing is the F3 to F2 stuff and I see the please wait...   During
this time my HardDrive is being accessed.  I have a Ram Drive, but nothing
is ever on it.  Tommorrow I will rem out the Ram Drive in config.sys, per
Mark, and see if that helps.  If I change events I wait several seconds for
the new Event to paint onto the VGA display.
