ECS doesn't seem to have a built-in item to read them directly, however,
it offers the Command-J item type which allows you to send any
Homevision serial command and read the result.  So using that, you
should have no trouble reading the temperature values.  

I haven't tried it myself yet since I don't have the expansion board
yet.  But I see no reason it shouldn't work.
