[ECS] X-10 Security Sensors

The sensors I have (DW534) don't have the normal house code & unit code
wheels. They have a code button, and the instructions that come with the
sensor describe the procedure for logging the sensor into an X10 security
base, but gives no information on how the codes are assigned.

Do the sensors start with a given house code and work through the unit codes
with each press of the code button or something like this?

Thanks for any insights.

Yes! They act as remotes, and you will need a receiver for each house
code you use. You can have them directly turn things on and off, or be
watched by something like ECS that then implements a macro or series of
events caused by the security sensor. If you have more than 16 security
sensors and want them separately watched, you have to have more than one
receiver as the receivers only watch 16 devices on one house code at a
time!
