With an empty .cfg file, the screens switch very quickly between F1,F2,F3.
There was noticable activity the FIRST time I went to F4, but much quicker
after that.
With my regular .cfg file, I created a 'blank' group and a 'blank' event,
rather than the usual group and event (which are full screens). Even when
switching between the 'blank' screens, there is a very noticable delay
before you are given control again and the cursor snaps to its proper
position. the cursor does NOT 'paint' the screen, but it does float in the
header for a second or two, then snaps to the option field. My clock often
blinks, indicating that ECS is behind.
If I display a group that shows the 'seconds behind' item, it often flickers
between 0 and 1, but I never notice the clock flickering. This is during
'idle' use, ie no keyboard activity, just 'normal' running.
