PD-40 Digal Inputs

Mark,

In working with my system, I've finally gotten around to using the
digital inputs of the Prairie Digital 40 box.

My "normal" event pass per second is about 13.7 and after defining one
single digital-input-f item, my pass per second count dropped to 3.

Pressing "Ctrl-X" once shows MANY transmits to Digital Interface F, with
the resulting received data.

Is this normal? Do other Digital-Input devices yield the same type of
slowdown?

I'm not "usually" a speed freak, but this has me thinking about what I
want to use to "monitor" several inputs that don't change all that
rapidly (2 garage doors, 1 electric gate).

Comments/suggestions?

Bill Walters
