Yes, my editor does that to me too, sometimes! <grin>

I found the "heartbeat" problem (HD light blinking on about 1 time per
second)...

I had written in Marks "Passes/Second" counter into a separate event.  I
went in this morning and set it to "Called" (thereby disabling it
without erasing it) and sure enough, that stopped the HD from blinking. 
I checked Backup:No on each of the Items used and none were set to YES. 
I'm mystified.
