Kevin,
Edit your Config.SYS file to add the following line:
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\RAMDRIVE.SYS 8000 /e
the "8000" will give you an 8 mb ramdrive as drive "D" (assuming you
have only one HD which is "C").
Save it, exit and re-boot windows; you'll see an icon for an integrated
circuit and beneth it, labeled "Drive D" (or whatever).
Next, go to ecs, settings, and define that drive (D, or whatever your
system says you created) as your ramdrive, F6 to save, exit and you're
in business.
Makes speech real nice on my 486-100.
