Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] NON-ECS "network" question Ingo Pakleppa Fri, 22 Jan 1999 08:37:07 -0800 |
The "netware compatible shell" is usually called IPXODI.EXE or LSL.EXE (I
can't remember which), and it gets loaded at bootup if you have a Novell
server. Also, the Windows 95 Novell driver can act as such a "shell", I
believe.
It sounds like one of your programs for some reason thinks that you have a
Novell network, and tries to connect to that program.
When you boot up, hit F8 and step through CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT to
see which is the offending program, and if you get any other error message
that may indicate a failed attempt to load the netware shell.
