Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] "DOS based " Mark Gilmore Fri, 22 Jan 1999 19:24:57 -0800 |
Sorry I wasn't clear:
HAS reviewed ECS (internally) for possible inclusion
in their catalog. It was rejected without explanation.
I carefully explained that I had NO problem with the
rejection, but would really appreciate knowing WHY,
so that I might correct the shortcomings in the future.
It took a little "tinkling contest" to obtain the report,
which stated that it was "DOS based and looked terrible".
This would lead me to beleive that they had run ECS/DOS,
but I can't figure out HOW they could have done such a
thing.
Anyway, I found the entire experience most unpleasant,
and so the rejection may have been a blessing.
