Subject: From: Date: | IBM Touchscreen Computer Bill Walters Sun, 24 Jan 1999 09:29:07 -0600 |
All -
I've found a "possible" source for touchscreen computers;
IBM 2849 Model 600's. 486-50 machines w/16mb RAM, touchscreen (8.2"
diagonal, aparently mono vga), 1.08 mb HD, 28.8 modem, pcmcia slot
(types I,II,III).
Don't know if touchscreen requires stylus or not, nor much else about
it.
Currently being auctioned at www.ebay.com and at bid price of $250 to
$255, none of the bidders has met the "reserve" price.
I've e-mailed the seller to ask if they would consider a "group"
purchase, at what quantity and at what price. If anyone is interested
in such a venture, e-mail me and I'll let you know what I find out.
