FYI, something to look forward to, if it isn't vaporware.
I'm going forward with my 70 volt PA system.

Currently the intercom only operates between PXP phones however our next
generation product (currently in development) will provide an interface
that
could be used for broadcasting announcements from your PC. We are also
developing an adapter that could be used with the current products to
achieve
the same function.
Alana Tech. is focussed on the development of telephony products that
are
designed to work as part of a home automation/ home networking system.
Thanks for your interest and we would welcome any further comments or
suggestions
