Do remember, a wife asked about the project will feel less reluctance to
the automation. Unfortunately, they usually don't understand the money
expense. Just remember other things that can be made in the future.
Automatic yard watering and even better, automatic garden watering.
Later you can add a weather interface and then it will take into effect
the rain fall and dryness. Automatic drapes when it gets dark. Use an
X10 box on the vacuum and it will turn off when a phone call comes in.
Lots of useful things.
