Subject: From: Date: | HV signals Mark Gilmore Mon, 25 Jan 1999 18:43:21 -0800 |
OK, HV/IR CODE BE GOOD (shouldn't have doubted myself :-)):
This is the just-enhanced doc on HV signals (note the asterics):
1) Remote Monitoring
----------------------------------------------------------------
When you push an IR-button, the resulting signal is received by
the HomeVision, which sends that signal's ID# to ECS. This Item's
State then becomes that ID# for one Event pass (or UNKNOWN if
the signal is not recognized), and is then reset to IDLE (unless
* another signal is received). NOTE: For ECS to recognize a signal,
* it must have an ID#, and so must be entered in the INFRARED
* REMOTE CONTROL SIGNALS menu of the HomeVision software.
One application is the use of an IR-remote as a Keypad.
