Short of a Dialogic class product (http://www.dialogic.com/), I don't
know of one. I think that Creative's internal Phoneblaster
(Modemblaster?) used to have a cable that went directly to the
soundblaster so you could play wave files, but I don't know if they
still do.
You should definitely check out the Technical Support area of Katalina
Technologies, maker of VoiceGuide software:
<http://www.ozemail.com.au/~katalina/vgidx.htm>. They comment on modems
in there quite a bit, since it's their lifeblood. I also recommend you
download and play with their VoiceGuide product - you might consider a
marriage between ECS and Voiceguide using DDE...
Also, doing a search for the words "modem" and "wave" on
http://www.dejanews.com comes back with 710 hits.
Also, check out http://www.exceletel.com, they recommend a MediaPhonics
card at http://www.exceletel.com/mediapho.htm
That should keep you busy for a while (as if you need it).
Ultimately, I'd be willing to shell out about $200-$300 for a good voice
modem if ECS supports it.
