I posted a note several days ago about an IBM notebook computer, with
8.2" VGA mono touchscreen display. At that time, he (the seller)
offered a quote for group purchase of 10+ at $250 each.
He's not had any bids other than $250 for one unit, posted at e-bay.
I e-mailed him today and said (in part):
I posted a number of offers to get a
group purchase of your units; I've had no responses whatsoever, so I
guess that most of us feel your asking price is a tad steep.
Good luck with your auctions and e-mail me if you decide to drop the
price on your units.

To which he responded:
Do you want to take some?
IBM 2489 Rugged 600, 486/50/16RAM/1 gig/28.8/Monochrome/battery-charger.
How much max would you pay for something like that? In what quantity?
--------------------------------------------------------------------
So, anybody interested at all?
If so, at what price? Sounds like he's got a "bunch" of them and wants
to unload some of them.
