Yes, it will be a dog. The memory is not the problem as much as the
speed of the computer. I ran on a 33mhz 486 with dire hatred. I
despised having to do anything on it and preferred to use my wife's
100mhz pentium. With low end pentium motherboards and chips so cheap as
they are now days, it is not worth it on a 486. Swap out the
motherboard, you can get full featured boards with chip, video card,
audio card, I/O, and drive controllers for just over $100.
