Local Phone Access on Win ECS

Mark G,
The Rockwell based modems are very inexpensive. Would it be feasible to use
a second or even third voicemail modem with the ring-threshold and
answer-on-ring set very low, to allow instant local access to the ECS
voicemail system when calling locally ? My guess is the modem would be in
an "offline" mode at all times if it could be done.
