Regarding the Wav / Rockwell problem:
I'd suggest checking out the program SUPERVOICE. It uses Rockwell modems, is
given away with many modem cards and has included in it a WAV converter as
well. It converts the stored voice messages to wav and vice-versa. It has
superb voice quality - just like the Bigmouth used to be WITH a Rockwell
modem. They obviously have figured out what Mark is struggling with, maybe
there are some hints either in the program or from them - the manual says
they welcome inquiries for incorporating their code into OEM products. The
real point is that it DOES WORK. Somehow.
