If he wants to run Win95 or 98, get a new box.  I have refurbished several
machines with new motherboards (about $90) and used Pentium chips in the
75 - 133 range.

If you don't have the time, or want to spend less, get an Evergreen or VX
486-133 upgrade chip for about $99.

Makes the CPU go at 133mhz, although your hard drive and memory is still the
slow old stuff.

It can make the difference sometimes.  If your dad gets a new machine, claim
the old one, pop in a 133mhz CPU, and give it to the kids.
