All,
I have been working with VR/MS SAPI v4 for a while now and have had so-so
luck. My problem seems to be in the mic setup. If I'm any more than 6-8" from
the mic it doesn't hear me. I used the mic setup in MS Voice and was able to
get done by staying very close to the mic. VR accuracy was terrible with this
arrangement no matter how much I trained. 
Last night just for kicks I downloaded the Home Voice demo, did the mic setup
and it was great!!!! I could stand across the room w/ the Super Bowl on the TV
and say turn on the light and it didn't miss a beat!!!!! 
Does anyone have any ideas? I must be doing something wrong. I can't believe
that MS is that far behind the competition in VR.
