Bill - I think; unfortunately (or maybe fortunately, for ECS :-) ) you hit
it on the button. Micro$oft (I like to feel I can bash 'em a bit more than
most; as I was an "inmate" in that particular asylum for almost 10 years -
yes, there is life after "the Evil Empire") has really "made over" the user
interface in their own image. They have done an awful lot of market
research and field trials (and deliberately AVOIDED the types of folks that
hang out on these lists; we're waaaaaay too "nerdish"). The bottom line is
that the Windows UI IS "computing" for most people these days.

Mark - a few posts back, you made a comment to the effect of "...if I were a
complete computer illiterate..."; but, most everyone these days has at least
been EXPOSED to some parts of the Micro$oft UI. So, when they come across
something "different"; they're likely to be turned off, or at least
confused.

On the other hand; the $$ I spent for ECS were some of the most well spent
in a long time. I think Mark's done a great job; and an even better job at
support.
