This won't help you unless you have a VIVE caller ID unit, but if you do,
this will tell you if the line is in use or not in use:
I use a Phone Blaster board on one of the PBX ports and so don't have
visibility of main line activity. The Vive unit is placed on the CO side of
the PBX to monitor incoming line. The line sensor in the VIVE is accessible
via the UART registers as follows:
(Note that the port address is the com port base address plus 6 (in this
case base 340hex).)
|Item:Port_VIVE status Type:I/O-Port-Byte
Acc:Owner/Maint
| Initial State:0 Backup:No
| Port Address :838
| If Port_VIVE status Is GE 128
| Then Flag_phone in use Set Off
| Else Flag_phone in use Set On
| End

Sorry Bill, CALLER-HUNG-UP is supported only
with the BigMouth. This will be documented in
the next ECS.HTM.
