Mark,
I don't know if you got any input on this so I hope I am not repeating whay
you may already know:
With the 32 bit system, If you are using ACE you can't run WinAmp with the
ACE-32 obviously. Also you can't run 32 bit apps obviously on the FAT16
machines. I would recommend installing win95 ver b to bring everything up
to FAT32 of course you would have to reformat hard drives!
Also I just ran into this the other day. I am using windows 3.1 for
workgroups on a touchscreen and needed to transfer files. I wanted to use
the Dos programs intersvr.exe and interlnk.exe. They are great but you
cannot link a FAT32 and FAT16 machine together this way. Just a trivial
matter though. I had to revive an old 486 that was almost dead but I got it
going.
