Kevin, I think you meant say "can't run Winamp WITHOUT the ACE-32..."
instead of "can't run Winamp WITH the ACE-32...", right?
ACE requires the ace-32 module to communicate with winamp. Ace-32 is
network capable, so all you have to do is run winamp and ace-32 on the
same pc and then any ACE Client (onthe same pc or other networked pc's) or
the ACE Server (on the same pc or other networked pc's) can view the
status of winamp and control it.
Just to reiterate one more time... Bill, the pc you specify below will
work fine. Basically, if you have 16 meg ram and Windows xx, you can run
ACE.
