Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] Upgrade report Dan Carrington Wed, 10 Feb 1999 07:56:25 -0800 |
This is the same thing that I and others had reported early on with the
windows version of ECS. I use a 1280x1024 on my main computer which is
where I have been playing with the windows version although I have yet
to upgrade my ecs machine to run windows. I also see large areas of
"gray void" around the editable area of ecs when I maximize the
windows. It would greatly improve the windows look/feel/use of ECS to
be able to use the whole screen or at least the vertical height because
our info is mostly stacked vertically (event editor). The larger space
would especially be useful in the event editor and group screens, and
somewhat for the message screen. There is even a use for the item
editor window to go larger as there is information displayed in the
bottom half of the screen about the item type that more info could be
shown in a larger "maximized" window.
Please don't get me wrong, I love the ECS engine and what it does for
us, but if you are looking for windows feel and acceptability,
enlargable screens are a must.
