Subject: From: Date: | Re: [ECS] Wierd X10 stuff Dan Hoehnen Wed, 10 Feb 1999 19:12:08 -0500 (EST) |
I haven't been following this thread, but just happened to catch this
post and thought I would mention a common mistake many people make about
where each phase is in their breaker box. Here (Ohio) all breaker boxes
I have seen do NOT have 1 phase on the left and the other phase on the
right. The phases alternate down each side and each side has breakers
that are on each phase. For example, if I look at teh left side of my
breaker panel my breakers are on the following phases:
1 phase 1
2 phase 2
3 phase 1
4 phase 2
5 phase 1
6 phase 2
7 :
8 :
9 :
10 :
11 phase 1
12 phase 2
Thus, you can have breakers right next to eachother that are on different
phases. Of course, your panel may be different. Just thought I'd try to
prevent confusion. Sorry if this was already covered.
