RE: [ECS] Help: ECST Minute-Counters stopped working

Michael:

I appreciate your suggestion, but am not sure that will fix the problem. I've
looked at the latest upd.doc on the ftp server and can find no indication that
a problem has been fixed in this area. Unless there is reason to believe this
is fixed, I'm reluctant to experiment with a change.

Mark G.: If you have a minute, I wonder if you can look to see whether there
might be some aspect of the Minute-Counters implementation that would explain
what I am seeing. I have a total of 25 to 30 timers and/or counters defined
(well below the Setup defined max of 100). Most are second timers, and only a
few are running at any particular point in time (typically). I do have two
"free-running" second timers that count down and are reset continuously, if
that makes any difference. All except the Minute counters referenced in my
prior notes seem to be working. As noted before, if I redefine the offending
minute counters to be second counters, they start, run, and stop as expected.

Thanks and Regards,

Bill Freeman

Hi Bill!

You might try the latest version of ECST and see if that solves your
problem.

Cheers!

Michael:

Yep, changing them to "Second-Counters" has convinced me that my start and
stop
logic is working as intended. They work fine until I make them
"Minute-Counters" again.

HI Bill!

Hmmm, I have ECST 3.4008, and minute counters seem to be working fine. I
hope you'll excuse me for stating the obvious, but you are setting the state
of your minute-counters to "start", yes?

Cheers!

OK, ... I'm stumped.

I'm running ECST 3.4.001 and have been adding a bit of function lately.
Included in these additions were the definition of several new
"Minute-Counter"
items. Now, all of a sudden none of the minute counters function. If I
redefine the same items as "Second-Counters" ... they start and run as
intended, but with 60X resolution from what I need.

Setup: Max timers is not yet "maxed-out" and bumping it up anyway does not
help.

Anybody seen this one? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Regards,

Bill Freeman
