Actually, Bill, what you said wasn't wrong. You can have breakers on
each side that are on different phases. I just wanted to point out that
it is also possible to have them right next to each other on the same
side. Point is... you need to check your panel out and see how it is
arranged to make sure you connect your phase coupler to both phases.
