Subject: From: Date: | RE: [ECS] Clock speed ? Doug Reif Fri, 12 Feb 1999 12:38:28 -0800 |
There are many good utilities that will measire clock speed.
On NT 4.0 , WINMSD will do it. That's how I found out my Dual CPU
system has one CPU at 166 MHz and one at 167 MHz.
This can actually cause many wierd problems, believe it or not.
www.winfiles.com has some freeware and shareware that will do the trick.
There is a Win95 app called COOLINFO that reports the CPU speed as well
as a lot of other info. Not programmatic but its free.
